In February 2021, we decided to postpone the IALE European Landscape Ecology Congress to summer 2022 due to uncertainties about the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on what we observe today, we think it was a correct decision.
The rescheduled IALE 2022 European Landscape Ecology Congress will take place from 11 to 15 July 2022, in Warsaw (Poland). The theme of the congress ‘Making the future, learning from the past’ highlights the potentials for shaping and co-creating the future landscape with a landscape ecological perspective by reflecting what we can learn from the past.
In the meanwhile the list of symposia has been updated by symposium organisers while new ones have been added to the list. More than 30 symposia will be organised, structured in ten thematic groups. The description of the symposia as well as the submission procedure can be found on the website.
The congress will be organised in the physical format that is safe for the participants. Feel free to share this call widely among your colleagues and use the promotional material provided at the congress website.
